With the arrival of Korean craze in Singapore in 2000, Korean restaurants, like everything else with that cool capital K, have blossomed in almost every corner of the island.

Among the many Korean restaurants and eateries that now dot Singapore, one stands out in particular because it tells of the story of a Korean mother’s passion for and dedication to the culinary traditions of her homeland. It took Angela Soojin Park just 8 short months to set up Su Korea Cuisine at Far East Plaza, and she found herself a joyous new mom just 3 days into the opening of her new restaurant!

In barely less than a year, Angela opened a second outlet at Boat Quay, a favourite haunt for tourists and local executives. Now, Su Korean Cuisine Pte Ltd had just opened a new outlet besides Jurong Bird Park – The Village @ Jurong Hill.

Apart from offering authentic Korean staples like barbeques, ginseng chicken and kim chi, SU Korean Cuisine also helps to introduce locals to Korean cuisine by matching its dishes to local tastes and preferences.
